Why We Like It

By extending the lives of the materials salvaged everyday, the PlusOne Initiative tries to reduce the carbon footprint generated on a daily basis. All their materials are sourced locally, which would otherwise end up in landfills. They also involve local communities in all their projects and give the lesser privileged a platform  to improve their standard of living. Their main focus is to repurpose flex banners into bags, planters and even outdoor furniture! PlusONE has donated more than 1500 school bags directly as well as in collaboration with various organizations in Pune, Mumbai and are all geared up to expand its operations in Chennai.
