This is a hand made tiedye Shibori stole. Shibori is a Japanese word for a variety of manual resist dyeing techniques that involves shaping and securing the fabric before dyeing to create patterns. The base fabric used in this stole is woven on the handloom using Tussar silk and cotton yarn as warp and weft. Any variation in the weave, or the color is part of its beauty.
