The products are packaged in glass bottles, not plastic, and all the fruit waste, instead of being dumped in the garbage is used for compost. All the grey water that the kitchen creates goes into soap pits. The fruits are organically or naturally grown, and are, wherever possible sourced directly from micro-farmers. This spread is handmade in small batches and is free from any additives, colours, chemicals or preservatives. We also love that Fouziya's is run by a woman-only unit where women from the local community are employed and trained in order to build their capacity and better their chances of employability.
